State Department Nonimmigrant Visa Fee Increase
Published: 05/19/2023As of May 30, 2023, the US Department of Status (DoS) will increase its fees for certain nonimmigrant visa categories.
The current $160.00 fee for processing non-petition-based applications such as B1/B2, F and J visas is increasing to $185.00.
The current $190.00 fee for processing applications for H, L, O, P, Q and R visa stamp applications will increase from the current $190.00 to $205.00.
The current $205.00 fee for processing E treaty category visas is increasing to $315.00.
The fees are in effect from March 30 for anyone paying the fee form that point forward (old fees already paid but not yet used will still be honored – prior applicants will not be asked to pay the difference).
